Steven Chouinard is a seasoned maintenance coordinator with more than ten years of experience in electromechanics and the optimization of industrial operations. Known for his leadership, organizational skills, and commitment to continuous improvement, he has risen through the ranks at Garant, where he now supervises a team of 17 employees across three shifts.
Throughout his career, Steven has led major optimization projects, including the integration of a maintenance software system (Guide TI), the implementation of digital solutions such as POKA, the development of preventive maintenance processes, and the introduction of 4.0 maintenance initiatives. He has also significantly reduced equipment failures by applying analytical approaches such as the Pareto principle.
A graduate in electromechanics from the CFP de Lévis, where he received an excellence award, Steven is driven by a philosophy of shared responsibility, skills development, and innovation. As a guest speaker at the 2024 COGEP Customer Days, he shares his expertise in 4.0 maintenance and paperless industrial management.
