Dr. Simon Giret is an accomplished leader in pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, recognized for his expertise in nanotechnology, biomolecule extraction, and GMP-compliant production. His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the École Nationale de Chimie de Montpellier, where his research on drug vectorization through nanomaterials earned highest honors and resulted in multiple publications and patents. He also holds a master’s degree in materials chemistry for medical applications from the University of Montpellier II.
Following postdoctoral research at Université Laval, Dr. Giret joined SiliCycle, where he led nanomaterials R&D programs, directed plant-based pharmaceutical extraction projects, and oversaw the design of a $20M GMP-compliant production line for controlled substances. He also contributed to the technical and strategic validation of a $35M pharmaceutical facility acquisition.
Now serving as Director of Production at Devonian Health Group, Dr. Giret oversees GMP manufacturing, extraction, and packaging operations, supporting clinical studies and process validation. A Lean Six Sigma Belt holder, he is deeply committed to innovation, regulatory excellence, and the professional development of his teams.
